Junior Golf Programs
Sponsored by the Hilton Head Island Golf Professionals Association and many local golf courses.
  • Clubs for Kids-Clubs are purchased from manufacturers and available for rent or purchase.
  • Junior Academy - A two-day school on many areas of golf instruction such as the swing and drills.
  • Pro-Pal Program- each junior that is enrolled in the summer program is assigned a professional to give individual golf instruction at a nearby golf course.
  • Summer Junior Program - An eight-week program that provided golf instruction with actual golf tournament play. The age of the junior dictate the number and distance of the holes played.


Cool Kid's Stuff To Do
What kid could resist Hilton Head's miles of sandy beaches, surf and tidal pools? For the nature inclined in your family the beach offers a perfect place to get acquainted with many kinds of wildlife. Chanced are good that you'll see some of the following wildlife like dancing dolphins, pelicans, and possibly loggerhead turtles (please leave them be).

Hilton Head Island also offers miles of bicycle/skating trails throughout the island. The island also features horseback riding through the Sea Pines Forest Preserve, plenty of great places to go crabbing and fishing. Save dollars and take your little ones golfing and or tennis, many tennis and golf courses offer free and reduced rates for juniors.

For the active there is also bowling and a plethora of unique miniature golf courses throughout the island. And for real water fun, head to Water Fun Park located on the South forest Beach Dr. which features 3-water slides and a kid's water park.
